our process

We can bring your ideas to life, whatever their size, by designing your website so that it is easy to maintain, making it a valuable asset to your organisation.

To achieve this there are a number of stages we go through to ensure that everyone involved in the project is aware of work being undertaken. Whilst being structured, it is flexible enough to adapt to different projects, and is briefly outlined below:

Research
at this stage we want to know as much as you can tell us about your organisation and the project you want us to work on. what are your aims and goals? who are your customers? what have you done in the past? the list of questions is endless - the more information you can give us the better!
Proposal
having sat and had a chat with you about what you're looking for us to work on and got some background, we put together a proposal outlining all the costs involved in the project and the work we will undertake. once you're happy with this, you sign and we get to work!
Hosting
It's best to sort out the hosting at the beginning rather than the end, as this means that all the domains will be setup and emails working correctly when the site is complete.
Design
At this stage we create a selection of designs based on discussions with clients and what we've found from research, which can then be coded to make the individual template of your website. All our designs are tailored to you, we don't cut corners by offering you 'off the shelf' designs.
Development
Once the site design is confirmed we can start developing any backend programming and setting up the page structures ready to input your content.
Testing
Testing doesn't really come last, as we're continually making sure site elements function correctly across a number of test systems, but there is always one final test before setting the site free!

Effective two-way communication is essential, both between you and designer during a project and between you and your customers once the project goes live. we will keep you informed at every stage throughout the project, but whenever you want to ask anything, just get in touch!

our site is cross-browser compatible, accessible to users and search engines and we have tested in internet explorer 6, internet explorer 5.5, mozilla firefox, safari, netscape 7 and opera browsers for w3c standards compliance.
