dj jon b commissioned newmediaboutique to design a range of a7 flyers for his weekly soulful hiphop + rnb club nights at club xs in scarborough, north yorkshire. distributed around bars in scarborough, the only criteria for the flyers was the information on them; the style was up to us. we decided upon the use of recognisable artists from those genres and reworked photos using gradient colours, with a white border around to make them stand out from whatever background they find themselves against. further designs will be undertaken on weekly or monthly runs as required.
